Sisterhood is the organization of the women of the congregation who bond together for fellowship and friendship, for education, for entertainment, and for programs to benefit the synagogue and community. Free Synagogue’s Sisterhood has traditionally raised large sums for the maintenance of the synagogue such as new kitchen cabinets for the social hall and the sponsoring of concerts for our many concert series. For several decades, Sisterhood has run our thrift shop, providing a needed service in our immigrant neighborhood.
